The City of Lake Elsinore proudly offers special events year round, and with each new season there are new opportunities to explore our city and participate in events that enrich your family life. In this year of 2013, the city celebrates a historic milestone of reaching 125 years! We hope your family will make it a goal to attend one or more of these events and celebrate with us!

Volunteers are an important part of many events; if you would like to volunteer, contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 951-674-3124 ext 290. Teens, ages 15 years or older, may volunteer for Special Events and adults are needed for CERT (Citizens Emergency Response Team) and Citizen Corps. '
2013 FALL and WINTER EVENTS
OCT 19 - The Great California Shake Out at the Diamond Stadium from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Stop by for demonstrations, exhibits and booths to help you get prepared for a disaster. The recent Falls Fire in the Ortega Mountains just above Lake Elsinore was a strong reminder that nature is unpredictable but we can be ready! Resources include Cal Fire, Police, CERT, Citizen Corp and a variety of prepardness booths offering give aways and great information.
NOV 1 - Day of the Dead or Dia De los Muertas on Main Street in Historic Downtown from 4 to 9 p.m. The street will be filled with music, food, celebrations of life and dance! The public is welcome to place an alter on the street . Contact Studio 395 at 714- 506-3636 for more information.
Nov 9 & 10 - Elsinore Grand Prix at the Diamond Stadium. Contact Storm Events at 951-245- HITS for more Information.
Nov 15 & 16 - Palateers Art Show & Sale at the Lake Community Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free admission; original art for sale!
Dec 6 - Winterfest Street Faire and Celebration in Historic Downrtown Lake Elsinore on Main St. from 5 to 9 p.m. Sled Runs, Free Kids Activities, Bouncers, Entertainment. Petting Zoo and great food! Santa arrives at 6 p.m. to help light our Holiday Tree! Best parking at Heald Ave and Main St or in the public lots between Main Street and Spring Streets.
Dec 14 - Breakfast With Santa & Friends; tickets on sale starting Nov 1st at the Lake Community Center. Visit with Santa and a few of his friends and make a keepsake ornament . Breakfast starts at 9:00 a.m. with conteniental faire featuring, bakery items, fresh fruit, cerals, yogurt and juices. Tickets are just $5 and seating is limited. Recommended for ages 11 years and YOUNGER. All in attendance must have a ticket.
